For Groundwater Sustainability Agencies & Districts
Proof of your basin's water savings — ready for the DWR Annual Report.
Aerial plant-health maps and irrigation overlays that show where the water in your basin actually went — parcel by parcel. Built for California's Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Delivered in the GIS formats the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) already accepts on the SGMA Portal. The package drops into your April Annual Report and your five-year Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) update.

Why GSAs and water districts work with us
Evidence that holds up in an audit.
Built around your reporting calendar
Annual Reports are due to DWR every April; GSP evaluations come due every five years. We schedule flights so the data is ready six weeks before each deadline. PDF plus GIS layers drop into the DWR SGMA Portal without rework.
What the State is asking for now
DWR's recent GSP reviews and the State Water Board's probationary determinations have raised the bar. Landowner self-reports of pumping and acreage no longer carry the weight they used to. Reviewers want mapped, time-stamped evidence — at the parcel level — that your demand-management programs are actually moving the needle. That's what drone-based plant-health mapping (NDVI) and irrigation-efficiency overlays give you, on a cadence you control.
What you get in the deliverable
Each season we fly your basin — or a stratified sample of it — and hand you two deliverables. First: an aggregated dashboard for your board, DWR submission, and Annual Report. Second: parcel-level reports you can give to individual growers if you're running an incentive or demand-management program. Files come as PDF, GeoTIFF, and shapefile. Each comes with full chain-of-custody — flight logs, ground-control records, processing notes. The documentation holds up under DWR or State Water Board scrutiny.
Scale and pricing
From a single GSA boundary to district-wide programs, we scope multi-day flight schedules to your acreage. Full-district programs are quoted fixed-bid — no time-and-materials surprises — typically $30K–$150K depending on acreage and flight cadence.
